Prosper

Tall Fescue

  • Good alternative to phalaris in summer dry regions where Prosper's summer dormancy will aid survival
  • Suitable for runoff areas around irrigated pastures for growing season production with persistence
  • Ideal to be used as a mix with lucerne for a persistant pasture with year round production

Prosper is a truly summer dormant variety with an erect growth habit and fine, soft leaves. Prosper also has good winter and spring growth, excellent rust resistance and is suited to summer dry environments. A fast establishing variety, it has very good late autumn and winter production and is late flowering so has a long spring growth pattern before entering dormancy over summer. With fine soft leaves, Prosper has very good stock acceptance and is more flexible in its managment options than traditional fescues.
