Harvest for all species except Alfalfa has finished with yields and quality being quite variable. This was due to an extremely warm and dry weather event in late November, impacting on critical seed filling. The main species effected were Persian clovers and some sub clovers. Production further south received significant rainfall following this weather event and this allowed their crops to finish really well,  one grower achieving exceptional yields of over 1000kg/ha cleaned on his Persian crops. Our production area is steadily increasing year on year and we are further strengthening our production in 2018, specifically on key species such as medics, sub clovers, balansa and persian clovers.
